Who We Are and What We Stand For
Our Mission
Our Mission
"The mission of the organization is to serve as an information and advocacy vehicle to advance the interests and improve the overall quality of life for African American citizens of Delaware County, Pennsylvania."

Our Vision
"To create a thriving and equitable community in Delaware County where African Americans are empowered, their voices are heard, and their quality of life is continually elevated through sustained advocacy, education, and economic opportunity."
Who We Are
The Delaware County Black Caucus (DCBC) was founded in June 2018 by a small group of 20 African American leaders committed to advocating for the needs and improving the quality of life for Black residents in Delaware County. Over the years, DCBC has grown significantly, with membership exceeding 50 active and dedicated individuals by 2023. This growth reflects the organization’s steadfast commitment to its mission, fostering a strong, united community and driving positive change through advocacy, education, and community engagement.
